Pastry Chef – Baking & Cake Decorating

Are you passionate about baking and have experience in baking professionally or at home? Do you like to tweak recipes, work on the small details and give your edible works of art the perfect looks and taste? Are you interested in design, trends and fashion?

We are looking for a new addition to our team at Susucre as a baker and cake decorator.

You should:

… be personally interested in baking and cake decorating
… have experience in baking / cake decorating professionally or at home
… enjoy working in a small team
… have a sense of style and current trends
… be willing to learn new skills, recipes and tricks
… be precise and perfectionistic

Your duties include

  • Assistant pastry chef
  • Baking of cakes and desserts based on established recipes
  • Cake decorating, basic decorations and designs
  • Preparation & set-up of dessert tables incl. decorations
  • Wedding / party set-ups
  • Packaging of cakes and preparations for delivery
 

Working hours: full time, Tuesdays – Fridays (full day), Saturdays/Sundays event and wedding set-ups, client orders, company events
Expected starting salary: S$1.500
